... ( I just listed the first 50 films - but I've seen more than 60 so far)

I wanted to not only pick easy and short books but also read a few classics. So far that didn't work out as planned. I read way to little longer books - and that's ONLY because of this challenge, because normally I read a lot of 700+ books. But this year I always thought about the amount of books I have to read and therefore prefered shorter ones. Another reason is Ulysses by James Joyce. I have this book at home and wanted to read it for a while. This challenge, I thought, would be a great motivation. I started it a few months ago and am only about half way through and have no motivation at all to finish it. Don't understand me wrong, I think it's a great book - at least the story is - but it's sooo exhaustig to read. And now the motivation to read any classics at all is quite low. But there is always next year :) but without this challenge. It was fun so far but I think I'm not going to participate next year again. Especially since I want to reread a few books (e.g. the Otherland and Memory Sorrow and Thorn series by Tad Williams) and those don't count. But I'm definitely going to start a reading challenge here on booklikes.

Do you participate in any challenges this year and how are doing so far?
