I know it's a little late, but here are the books I've read in November:

I loved every one of those books. Veronica Roth created an absolute fascinating reality and interesting characters. Jim Butchers "Furies of Calderon" is a promising first novel of his fantasy series Codex Alera which takes place in a world based upon the Ancient Rome. Well and then there is Terry Pratchett :) "The Amazing Maurice And His Educated Rodents" is one of his young adult novels of the Discworld series. It's a new version of "The Pied Piper of Hamelin" ("Der Rattenfänger von Hameln"), where a kid with his flute, a speaking cat and a bunch of speaking rats travel from town to town to trick the residents and pinch money from them. Even though it's written for kids/teenagers it is a very entertaining and funny book.
